I graduated from Shelbyville Central High School, and attended Nashville Tech. I met my husband when I was fifteen, when his daddy became our new preacher. We were married in 1988 and have been together for 20 years. We have five children. Amanda, 19, plays fast pitch softball for college. Karlie, 17, plays fast pitch softball for High School. Kerigan, 11, who is very active in school activities, plays fast pitch softball on a travel team. Chris, 10, plays baseball and football. Riley, 6, plays coach pitch baseball and smiles all the time.

I live a very fast paced life. Our lifestyle requires us to be flexible and spontaneous! We are always “on the go” with the kids, writing bonds, or looking for fugitives! However, I love our life, and I love working for Grumpy’s.

My husband, Matt, has always worked in some form of Law Enforcement. I worked at Vanderbilt University for 10 years, and it was not until I started working part -time for Rutherford County Juvenile Detention that I, myself, started to really like Law Enforcement. Matt quit the County to start his own fugitive recovery business, and I helped with the computer work.

As the years went by, I gained a love for the recovery business and that led to a love for bail bonding. Now I write bonds for Grumpy’s, and I am a valuable part of the fugitive recovery team. Grumpy’s is a great company to work for; we are all like one big family. I love helping people who need a second chance in life! Who, at one time or another, has not needed a second chance in some form? In my lifetime, I feel that if I can help one person turn their lives around… then I have done God’s will for my life.
