I am a proud mother of three wonderful {grown} children. Tammy is my oldest, then Clarisa whom has given me a great son-in-law, Jamie and two wonderful grandsons. Their names are Kegan, 6 and Brady, 8 weeks old. Last but NOT least is my son Cody. Wow, look Cody is a Grumpy’s Agent also…… I can’t leave out baby bond-girl, Laila Rain, daughter of Kevin and Leah. Laila feels just like a granddaughter to me. I feel God has blessed me in so many ways to have shared these kids in my life. I often wonder what I did to deserve such great kids. They are the light of my life and they enjoy keeping me on my toes when I seem to get too far off into left field. They keep me grounded and younger! It takes a lot of energy to keep up with them most of the time. However, I must say, they are worth all the struggles I have to endure!!!!!

I’ve always had an interest in Law Enforcement and thought I wanted to be a Police Officer years ago. I served on the Fairview Police Dept. as Dispatcher, Records Clerk & Auxiliary Officer. Later I went on to Capitol Police Dept. went through the Police Academy and served Nashville as a Police Officer. After the birth of Cody, my last born I decided to hang up my gun and badge. It was time to let his dad keep that role and me do something different. I went to work at the Williamson County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. I worked the Court System for 18 years. While working at the Clerk’s Office I got to know Leah & Kevin of Grumpy’s Bail Bonding. I was so impressed with Leah’s enthusiasm and kindness every time she came into the Clerk’s Office. I just loved her and the energy she brought in with her. She was always such a joy and always brightened our day. I remember thinking several times; I wish I was working for someone like her, for she is such a pleasure to be around. She has the knack of bringing out the best in you!!! Low & behold, here I am working for her and with her at Grumpy’s Bail Bonding. YEA!!!!!

I absolutely LOVEthe Bail Bonding Business! I am mostly the Office Manager for Grumpy’s however; I do whatever Leah needs like making bonds from time to time as well. There is such a pride in knowing you have helped someone and gotten them back to their family and loved ones. We truly believe that most of the time people just make bad decisions and that lands them in a bad place sometimes. We try to help those people get out of the bad place and back where they want to be. Life sometimes can really throw us a curve ball, so we have to react fast and hope we have done the best we can. Sometimes, this can land us in a bad spot and we need people like Leah & Kevin who truly do care about people and want to help them get back on their feet. Even though this is a business for them, they take their people serious and want to help them in every way. I watch Leah on the phone 24 – 7 just listening to people and their problems and wonder how she can do it sometimes. Then she tells me, “It’s about letting them know, someone still cares and really wants to help them”.

I hope you never ever need a bondsman, but if you do, call someone who truly cares about what you are going through ------ CALL GRUMPY’S BAIL BONDING!!!!!! Leah will always be there with a smile and a helping hand. If she can’t be there personally, she will send one of her agents with the same helping hand to help you out.
